I got mine for free it was gonna be scrapped!it needed a brake pipe lol and its a minter.

Also when switched to hold i dont think it ever drops to first so if you come to a stop and drive off it starts you in second i might be speaking bollocks ut thats what it feels like anyway lol.

I have a set of five of these wheels behind the house bud they have one brand new tyre two good uns and the other two are shot the wheels would need a refurb though i may let them go for the right price :thumbs

Go on milners website they have the mistral alternator listed £125 deliverd i think i paid for mine.

Thanks yeah hope it was just a faulty alternator it was only three months old so milners sent me a new one free of charge and i have returned the old one to them so they can diagnose the failed components.

looks good its on my to do list aswell.

I got rid of the 3rd row of seats as soon as i got mine loads more useable space :thumb2 and less rattles win win.

Think the cable under your seat is connected to the seatbelt and goes to the seatbelt warning light on the dashboard.

It lives again,changed out the alternator and all is well so hoping that the alternator was at fault and not some other underlying problem. Big thanks to all who gave me info and advice on this matter :thumb2 cheers stuart.

Ah ok got ya are they fairly secure as i would like the option of having a roof rack but dont want the hassle of drilling holes in the roof etc to fit rails?

Yeah the alternators on the bench in the garage and yes the battery is isolated dont want to take any chances with it :eek: Ok do you mean starting the engine and seeing if there is voltage coming back to the alternator feed?shouldnt be?

Are there thule type bars that work on the terrano without roof rails for carrying a roof box etc?
