it wont like to start on cold veg/petrol mix, fill the fuel filter with neat diesel, prime the filter the air bleed screw is on the side, do it the same way you would bleed your brakes, try not to start vehicle on cold veg, it wont like it ! this weather.. i geuss you not using a twin tank system.

the wires are only for the pre heater in the fuel filter, i wouldnt thought it would make much difference as it is only a heater element, coil or resister type, are you sure this is the reason it wont start, as with the later models the fuel filters are not heated, but im sure someone will now...

totally agree, no problems when towing, even forget the vans on the back sometimes, the only thing i would keep an eye on is the handbrake, make sure it is adjusted regular as stopping on a hill with the mavs handbrake can be a bit .....ooh er is it going to hold.

Get it pressure tested might be able to see where it is leaking from also next time ask for a dye agent to be put in and then when or IF it leaks you should be able to see where it is coming from.....

No its the other way round, 88 for hotter and 82 is standard,

the other is is the 82 degree, if you want your car nice and toasty in the winter use the 88 temp about half way, if your using the 82 temperature sits about 1/4 the way up any way thats on a tdi not sure on the td version

yes, they have a very dark green, dont think it is british racing green though, they also had yellow, red and a horrible brown, no offence to to the colour brown .
