    Parcel2Go - a shower of shite.

There is something wrong with the broking bit when they have no idea what their contracted carrier is doing. Or they tell you to ring them to find out FFS! Hermes have been OK though, ditto the Royal Mail small parcel thing....they insure adequately as well, which many couriers won't.

Does that mean you get a chimney sweep in then? LMAO!!!:lol

    Parcel2Go - a shower of shite.

Having once recommended P2Gs services, after yet another catastrophic experience with them I wish to soundly retract any recommendation and advise you to go elsewhere if you want to ship a parcel with any hope of it actually arriving. I suspect the fault is again largely with TNT (as it has...

    Cleaning Engine Bay

I'm with Dee and Makeitfit on this one. This isn't some poncey soft-roader and the electrics etc.. are well protected, plus the ECU is indoors. I get mine sluiced at the local bus depot with their steam cleaner where you just cross the geezers palm with a nice ironed £20, I think most of them...

    Rip off

I'd agree. When I spoke to Powerflow ages ago the bloke there did say he probably wouldn't suggest using s/s because of potential fracture problems from vibration, but I've concluded that if it stays together on your truck mate its a bloody no-brainer LMAO! :thumbs:thumbs

    Sump guard

LOL we love a good spat we do! And seriously, not only is £30 a perfectly fair price for whats quite a sturdy bash plate, but try getting one from the dealers and see how much they charge, if indeed you can even get one. I've had people moaning at me suggesting £50 for a mint part thats over...

    Autolock Hubs - I Wonder...

The other reason I'm confident this is the case is that having owned two automatics I know that the old 'rocking on the gearbox' trick is far easier with them than on a manual....its literally just a case of rowing the gear selector from D to N and back again; something I've done loads of times...

    Autolock Hubs - I Wonder...

I'm going to argue that because I don't think its 100% correct. Its always been my understanding from talking to a number of technical people that once the half shaft is engaged, whether you're reversing or driving forward, the snap rings are OUT of the equation until/unless you disengage 4WD...

    Gona Cry

The corner of the tyre IS an area where most tyre companies don't like to effect repairs since its the highest area of flex. It is NOT illegal to fit a tube in a tubeless tyre though. So if you can persuade someone to vulcanise it as a secondary line of defence, a tube ought to do the job -...

    Autolock Hubs - I Wonder...

Probably true but surely not relevant because as Pete rightly says, once drive is engaged with the gearstick the jobs done. The hubs are ONLY under any strain when actually engaging or disengaging drive....once its in or out, no amount of reversing etc.. puts any strain on them. Thats why its a...

    what next?

Even with a T2 you'll be lucky to get much over 20mpg towing anything heavy to be honest. Theres no serious evidence that I'm aware of that makes the 3.0 any harder work than the 2.7 - and in return you get 32-33mpg combined (compared to 25-27mpg) and another 33bhp on top of the T2s output...

    Help, power steering probs

pipe from your local hydraulics supplier...I paid a fiver for a metre length and two clips - but check as I can't remember if its 8 or 10mm internal bore you need. Theres some debate about what that whole length of apparently spurious pipe is all about, bearing in mind it goes across to the...
