Partial success! Thanks for the picture too Blocky10 - I have found the switch and was in the locked position, so that is now sorted. However, the problem remains with the left hand side rear door - it just will not open from inside nor outside, but I am pretty sure it is cluncking. Any ideas...

Thanks for the quick responses chaps. supergnome: yes, all the cluncking is audible. Just to add a bit more, on just *one* occasion only, when trying to sort out what was happening with the near side door not opening at all, it did open from the outside (using the black button on the key fob)...

Hi all - new to the forum and hoping some of you guys can help. We've just become the proud owners of our first Terrano II (1998) and there are a few teething issues that need sorting. Concerning the back doors (ie not the boot), the near side one won't open from the outside, nor the inside...
