Actually looking for 2 bits of trim. Vent on the passenger side and what I think is a speaker cover in the rear (cream colour). Its these wee bits are a bugger to get!!!

Totally agree!! Blocky10 - seen the dodgy mount for the compression rods and my heart sank, but keen to do stuff on the car myself and was glad to hear people supporting me to have a go!! I've been on other forums and they are full of smart arses... everyone has to start somewhere!!

Here you go. Nothing special, but got it for 1500, 60k on the clock but actually 106k - replacement dash, hoping its not going to be a money pit!!

what metal do you use for jobs like this? 3mm? Quite fancy giving it a go! Second car, so no big deal to get it back on the road...

I think your right about someone being there before... Looks a bit like the stuff you get in caves!! I wonder if I would get a weld to bridge the gap.. Will just have to grind down to find out!! Don't really want to fabricate a complete new mount as my first job before the thing is even on...

Probably a simple questions for those in the know. The gaiters on both by gear sticks has ripped and I can see right though to the ground. This makes it very noisy. Just general noise from the engine and road. This there meant to be a cover under this, or carpet maybe or just need to get two...

I have the dreaded flashing light, but the weird thing about it is that its very DIM. So much so that I didn't notice it when I was buying the car. I have yet to try to reset it yet (apart from using a fault code reader), but wondering if anyone has experience this specific issue.
