Should I be bothered by the amount of rust/corrosion on the read diff, or just get stuck in with a rotory wire brush and a paint brush...

Why is there paper in my chassis?

Paint or compressor - or both? I assume you use a probe to get inside the chassis. Previous own has used old oil and guessing its ok to put it on top of that?

    What is missing here?

Found a bracket on the exhaust, then thin air, and the a bracket on the chassis (don't know if they are connected). What's missing? Anything?

    My First 4x4 Project!

More holes.... Rear driver suspension mount to chassis. Also found that my fuel lines had gone in the past. Might replace them all, but how lazy can you get not removing the old steel lines.

Why is there paper in my chassis?

Not much to say. Think it was The Sun! Was checking chassis after hearing the horror stories of the navara, but looks ok - maybe a little bit of surface rust. Are T2 subject to chassis failure? What's the best way to treat the chassis? Remove surface rust, treat and wax? What about inside...

    Do you know your nuts??

Good point rustic, so only use on applications when torque measurement isn't required. Really just thinking of those ones that you tend to need to remove like battery retainer... or just to brightin up trim fittings...

    Do you know your nuts??

    What would be a good selection, m5, m6, m8 at 16mm/25mm/35mm ??

    Do you know your nuts??

I lot of my bolts on the Trunk are original and are starting to round off when I try to remove them, so plan to replace with stainless steel A2 bolts. The question is, what are the most used sizes on it? The amount of screwing that goes on around here I'm sure someone has got a list! :clap
