    Minor oil ingress beneath Intercooler

The slight leak is on the passenger side but no black smoke under harsh acceleration. I think I will keep an eye on it as we have a long trip to Cornwall in a couple of weeks. When I have a moment will also take the whole intercooler off and just double check hoses and clips etc. Having owned...

    Minor oil ingress beneath Intercooler

Many thanks indeed. Spring clips seem secure but maybe changing to jubilee clips would be better? Leaking is really quarter to half a thimble full if that along the top of the vent pipe to the back of the engine cover . Only just noticed it - but turbo working fine and I thought it might just be...

    Minor oil ingress beneath Intercooler

Just noted some oil evident beneath leading edge of intercooler and rubber pipes running above the exhaust manifold heat shield. Everything working fine and no black smoke or poor performance. Have been told this is normal by my reliable local garage. Is this OK?

    Keeping Terranos alive

Thanks guys. The hazard light switch is separate from the head unit, so hopefully this will not be a problem but many thanks anyway. Will concentrate on the sills over the next two weeks- all sunroof drain hoses now re-located away from sills so they don't fill up again once repaired and painted.

    Keeping Terranos alive

Yeah, my mistake I should have kept in touch! Next job is sorting out a new radio - understand this might not be straightforward as the NATS is wired through it?? Any ideas on this and how to fit a new replacement unit but still allowing the car to start?

    Keeping Terranos alive

Thanks for the welcome. I have had the Terrano 2 since 2011 and had loads of work done to keep it in really good shape. Gearbox, Clutch, sunroof, glow plugs, water pump, full exhaust etc. But the SWB models are rare now and it drives so well. Just want to keep it - anyway, it looks a bit like...

    Keeping Terranos alive

Just undergoing major surgery on rusty sills, replacing inner and out skins both sides. Why did Nissan route the sunroof drain pipes inside the sills at production?
