good point with the sound deadening. Its a bugger to chip off but I think it would be a good option on the drivers side arch. :thumb2

    rusty trusty the Terrano

Cheers Jim.i had a good read of that thread, good job he did. I should get away without the whole floor being done but once it's all cut right back it always leaves much larger holes. The only time I admitted defeat was a few years ago with a Morris minor. By the time it was all cut back I think...

    rusty trusty the Terrano

I did a bit more poking about today and stripped the rear out, seats etc. I think I have found the extent of the rot, hopefully. Pretty bad but all do-able. I took the washer bottle out and the air filter to have a good look at the inner wing. Not good  Luckily it stops before the abs...

    rusty trusty the Terrano

Well, I thought I should probably start a thread for the building up of rusty trusty. Some info first... I bought him off the brother in law in February this year, so I know the history of him for the last few years (trusty is definitely male). He's been pretty well looked after and had work...

Looking at a new cordless drill anyone here tried Milwaukee?

I have always used Dewal. Even taking a lot of hammer in the workshop I've never had any problem with them at all.

It's going to take a while to do, not in a big rush. The important thing is to make sure everything is 100% right. He's going to be the overland type vehicle in the house so I will at least know him inside out. I always say you don't really know your vehicle unless you have taken it apart. :D...

After mulling over the amount of work needed on the Terrano I decided to put him up for sale last night on Facebook market place. Ridiculous amount of interest in him and a long line of people coming to view him. I've just let them down and taken him off sale, can't bear to part with him...
