    Will this buff out?

yh The XTrails are as prone as the Terrano to rust, lots of crevices underneath that hold moisture, double skinned body work to hold moisture and so forth. I havent pulled up the carpets, and i aint gonna! No point now...

    Will this buff out?

thanks guys, but in terms of a repair im not feeling it. I just think the welding will be expensive, and then i have other existing issues to deal with which are equally expensive, and i think maybe this is one of them situations you stop and think, and bit the bullet and move on. Shame, but...

    Will this buff out?

well, im not 100% sure Rick, but based on what I have seen and other mechanics reports, i'd suggest its not so great underneath...for example, the rear adjusters for the tracking are rusted off on one side, and i can see rust underneath all the waxoyl that has come off...

    Will this buff out?

yup, thats one of my worries. They would have to remove most of what is there in the photo and fabricate a new panel - and its not flat/square. And THEN hope to get it at the correct height etc... i guess this explains why they havent been able to align my front tyres properly... this is the...

    Will this buff out?

    Will this buff out?

i havent dared to look at the other side other than popping the access panel off - looks ok but from the sounds of it theres a 99% chance itll be rusty As far as I can see, no panels to repair. Looks like a double skinned construction to me but im not 100%. im not feeling great about it. I...

    Which FREE Anti Virus

I use Bitdefender too. I have found it excellent so far. Avast and AVG are still good bar the ads/nags to get a paid subscription. What operating system are you running ?

    Double Din conversion

hi guys not 100% sure if this has been covered - I did a search but i have questions! I have a single din radio slot, currently empty, with the hazard switch above and cup holders below. Looking at the space, i dont think its a full double din. Can anyone confirm? I want to remove the hazard...

hi! yh i would like a 3.0 but this Terrano should be fine for at least a year or two - im not fussing over it though as its intended to be a workhorse/7 seater for when i take my friends and their kids out and so far its doing that very well!

dunno yet, im going to get a new filter as the old one is a bit dirty (supposed to be changed yearly but its a forgotten service item). Not sure what the smell is, its odd, didnt smell before. Im going to look for leaks because it might be water getting in somewhere into carpet
