    So cute - a prayer for Daddy..Ahhhhh!

Sorry I think I've misunderstood. I thought you were originally talking about hoes. :naughty :D

    Gear problems

Cheers for all the suggestions. Having managed to force it in a couple of times () it now seems to be playing ball and has been since yesterday. I can only assume that something was sticking or something, so will get it looked at properly next week.

Agreed. I'm up to 5 at the moment... ;)

    Parking Sensors Fitted. Thanks Guy's

I ended up using the gromit in the floor and pushed a straightened wire coat hanger through, to which I taped the end of the wires and pulled them through into the boot. :thumbs

    Gear problems

Clutch feels normal and fluid level is up to max line. Have managed to get it driving tonight and while still very clunky, it's better than it was. Not sure if I trust it in a stop-start commute to work though. Been going in to work on public transport with the great unwashed for last 2 days...

Question for the plane buffs here..

That's the UK 'Skunk Works' isn't it? You seen any strange black triangles taking off or landing..?

    Gear problems

Pedal seems fine, no problems with that. Saturday night I reversed it off and back on the drive about 4 times so I could check the parking sensors. Could I have clagged something up by doing that? And if so, is it feasible that I could un-clag it by doing the same? At the moment I can't get it...

    Gear problems

Got in the truck this morning and was really difficult to get in gear. Eventually got it into reverse but couldn't get into first, so set off in 2nd. Had real difficulty selecting 3rd so turned around and put it back on drive. Is this a clutch problem or is the gearbox knackered? When the engine...

Today has been a good day...

Replaced the aerial mount AND fitted my parking sensors. Now these may be only piddling little jobs to most of you, but to someone who's only previous experience of 'ride pimpin' was topping up the oil & windscreen wash and holding the tools while the next door neighbour fitted my brake pads...

    Haynes Manual

Ahhh, is that what that is? Thanks, I'll give it a go tomorrow. If it works, I'll be more than happy to be Bod's nephew.. ;) By the way, did you thread the wires up through the access panel or did you just use that for easy access to the underneath and thread them elsewhere?

    Haynes Manual

Great stuff. Tell me slowly then, in easy to understand words - how can I get the wires from my parking sensors in the bumper up into the boot area without drilling any holes in the main fuselage. I'm stuck on that one. I can't find any way of threading them upwards. Ta.

    Haynes Manual

Does anyone have or know where I might get the Haynes manual for the Terrano? I've looked all over the web and can't find it anywhere. Even the Haynes site don't stock it. I presume it did make print at some point..? I have the service manual (R20) on CD but it's a bit techy for me. I need...

    team wales meet 20th - 21st june 09

Correct. If you were a private land owner with poorly maintained land, the local council could serve a notice under section 215 of the Town & Country Planning Act 1990, requiring you to tidy it up and maintain it. Although councils can't serve notices on themselves, it does smack of hypocrisy...

    Redex

Quick heads up to anyone who uses Redex or would like to try it. Morrisons are selling 500ml for £3.95 (tagged as 500ml for the price of 250ml). I presume that's cheap is it not? Bought a couple this evening so will see how it works for me.

Had my first proper run in The Beast today, 'nipping' up the M18 & M62 to Hull way to pick up some roof bars I'd bought. I am bloomin impressed with the poke, I have to say. Just sat poddling along at 70 and then easily and effortlessly up to 80-85 to overtake without even having to put my foot...

Anyone use the stuff? Does it do anything good? Does it do anything bad? Cheers.

Can someone measure something for me?

Just had a quick look and it's exactly twice as long as half its length. Hope that helps. ;)
