Hi again lads, so the beast passed its mot with a few minors, oil leak at gearbox and engine, and corroded fuel line. The oil leaks, its a mess of old oil under there so if i clean it up hows best to test where its coming from? Ive heard putting uv ink in helps? Fuel lines, this sounds major...

So after trying banshees glowplug tricked turns out two were faulty, now replaced it starts on the button. Thanks again lads

right i have put in a new fuel filter and now its starting a bit easier but as the engine idle droppes down in revs it starts to struggle and stutter and you have to rev it to keep it running. once warmed up its fine but wonder what i have done now?

Whats the jump lead trick sounds guid?

Hi lads. After just one turn then start after glow plug light goes out it struggle so for a few seconds the rough starts with a bigger white plume of smoke then once warm it's fine. I know it's an brute of an engine so not overly worried and I've bought a better fuel filter so hopefully that...

It's happening at startup. I now give it two glow plug heat ups then start and it throws out a bit of white smoke but goes away after 5-10 seconds.

Hi Lads, i have just serviced the car again, just oil and filter having done another 6000 miles but i have noticed recently that there is more and more white smoke on startup and its not a quick to start as before. Also if you put your hand at the end of the exhaust a lot of black oil specs...

Hey lads so the terrano has been great recently and its mot's due soon but today the speedo just stopped working a few times, a tap on the instrument cluster a fair few times and it would work again. So what drives the speedo? Where's the sensor and how do I check it all OK?
