    How do these zexel pumps fair with wvo/svo? I know they are a bosch copy but am I right in saying they struggle with veg? Looks like this would be a great bargain for someone, too good to be pulled apart for bits.

    Great work. Been reading the offroadexpress.kiwi forums and it seems adding a mechanical pump is a fairly common mod over there. Your trucks going to be a monster, will you still have the lpg injection hooked up?

    Hi mav96. This will be a zexel variant wont it? I know fuel pump and sensors will be different to my bosch bits but dont you know if alot of the other gear is shared by both types. Things like running gear, suspension components? Is you interior cloth? As leather is killing me in this weather:D...

    Thanks guys, the truck would definatly not be on the road if it wasnt for all the info thats been posted up. I just see whats been done before and follow through with the steps. :D Saturday morning I had her in for the mot, now initailly it failed as I forgot to check the license plate bulbs...

    Tonight i will get all carpets, trim amd interior back in. Althought its quite nice driving it about with just the drivers seat and the rest stripped.

    A shot from underneath. All seam sealed and painted. Its still wet in this shot. Seam sealed and trying to get between the car body and chassis was fun :D i think there was more sealant on me then the car

    All in, cleaned and a quick zinc spray.

    Tacked the top panel back in place in one corner then moved about hammering it into position. Some parts had become quite thin after cutting and cleaning. So weld are a bit proud as i didnt want to blow through.

    Starting to move around weldinging into place. Any area from below that look scaby with rust have been checked for strength with a mallet and screwdriver. They will get a paint before mot.

    The bottom part was dead. Being under the car with no protection had been eaten away. So drilled the spot welds out and seperated the 2.

    Here is part of what i cut out. Double skinned. So i wanted to keep the top part with what are strengthening channels I think?

    Heres what I was left with after the rot is cut out. The area to the right of the footwell is just surface rust so will get a clean up after the other work.

    Wet drivers footwell

    I have sealed the gromit that passes through the bulkhead. Sealed inside and from the engine bay. It appear the leak is caused by water running down the seam inside the engine bay on the drivers side. Tight access as the brake cylinder, loom and other pipes restrict but i was able to run...
