    12 volt camping set ups

Rick, I was thinking about a simple isolator switch for the same reason and a volt meter on each battery. If they are at different levels you would know the isolator is off.

    12 volt camping set ups

I think you will start learning the black arts and Voodoo associated with split charging soon! :D Strangely, I bought mine in off the road yesterday having been furloughed just over 3 weeks ago to charge the battery and I was looking at space under the bonnet for a second battery to increase...

    FT’s Patrol Project

I had an Autovip 1700 car roller and did chassis and floor repairs to a Jensen CV8 on it. Good though it is, a rotisserie type is what I will use next time on the Opel Manta. Tacking and cooling is a good way of keeping sheet steel from distorting, either compressed air or damp rags but is very...

    Panel making.

Have you seen the guy making VW split screen panels in his flip flops with not much more than a bit of I beam and a few blunt chisels? I can’t find the video but what he does with hand tools is awesome.

    FT’s Patrol Project

I hope you don’t think I’m teaching you to suck eggs, t’s worthwhile bolting the wing on once you have tacked the repair in place as the stresses from welding can pull it well out of line. That’s a long weld too and the shrinking and stretching don’t help either. Years ago I did a Manta roof...

That would be an English Wheel, they have grown in popularity for home use and a proper cast iron one will set you back a bit even used. Good job you are doing there Mr Torquewrench. :thumbs

    My Terrano Thread.

If your old hoses are long and old you should feel a difference in pedal travel and firmness. Bikes are where you really notice a difference as the feel is through your fingertips and the OE hoses are usually very long with no hard sections.

Has anyone contacted Jim? I tried by PM as that's the only contact details I have as I have yet to meet him.

    Terrano trailer project

If you had not cut the roof off I would have paid more than the scrappers to tow it away and fix my SWB with the l/h panel! :thumb2

    Need some T-Cut.

Thanks for the offers, I will most likely take you all up on them over time except the bumper as I planned to make a winch bumper/M25 can opener from 2.5mm steel. What I am most in need of is a passenger door mirror complete as it looks like the door mount has broken too and I have nothing...

Anyone interested in my Terrano? Sadly she’s failed her MOT and I need to let her go

Reading the failure sheet it looks like you picked an Mot station run by the Waffen SS!
