Thanks Rick, I wasn't sure how sophisticated the management system would be. Looks like I will have to knock the guts out if the Catalytic convertor too, melted at the rear.

Does anyone know if the 2.4 petrol will run ok with the EGR Valve blanked off? I had to cut the stainless steel pipe that runs to the valve from the manifold. If I can get away without repairing the tube and blank it off it would save a great deal of agro.

A lot of the cars I can think of that may have a suitable gearbox have ended up in the drifting community so would likely be subjected to hiked up prices from 'scene tax'.

I'm no expert on the KA24 but you would be wanting a RWD gearbox from a Nissan road car or pickup to use the engine. I might be interested in the remains of the Terrano if you go ahead, what is it like? Edit: Is the Taxi automatic?
