Squeaky wipers on the Terrano and find out what speakers are in there so I can order some replacements. Might add some duct tape around the smashed up rear light to reduce the road noise and refit the smashed up inner panels. Speakers to fit in the Interceptor replacing the 50yr old ones...

Not sure the picture views very well, this might be better.

I took a guess at yours being a Y61 and found this schematic, it may not be correct for your vehicle but shows a feed from the front and rear going to the bias valve from the 5 way block. Interesting to see the other part shows ABS with the bias valve so at a guess the ABS is only on the front...

Interesting, how is the block fed from the master cylinder/servo?

Follow the lines back up the car and see where they go, it might be a diagonally split system. Can you find a circuit diagram?

Exactly this on both points. Add longer springs and the valve has no chance of working.

If you bypass the valve, take it out on a deserted wet road and try a few emergency stops to see what the rear end does. It may be fantastic on dry tarmac and lethal in the wet.

Are the rear brakes discs or drums and are they working correctly? I would give the rear brakes an inspection/service then check the proportioning valve operation. With the valve removed you can end up with too much rear braking and that's not fun in an emergency stop when the rear locks before...
