Found some old photos scanned from negatives mostly.

Excellent photos. I have had a lot of Opel's, Ascona and Manta B's mainly but always hankered after a Kadette Coupe. Seeing your photo reminds me I bought an early 1300 Astra off a neighbour to run around in about '95/6 and I think it was a V reg saloon with the wee boot lid like the Kadette SR...

    Welding Stainless Steel

I had a look online at pre-made stands, they don’t look difficult to make. Do you have the stainless to make it from?

MkIV Golf R32 Brake Bleed Issues

Yes, mine is a bit guzzly of air on a 3hp 14cfm compressor but you can get a hand operated pump version, I have not used one though. if you are servicing cars for people the vacuum bleeder can be a profitable little tool for fluid changes. :thumbs:augie

MkIV Golf R32 Brake Bleed Issues

Were the brakes ok before swapping the calipers? I use a vacuum bleeder with a good dollop of red brake grease around the bleed nipple threads to stop air getting in as opposed to the pressure bleeders. The auto top up bottle works well too. :thumbs

    Vee belt problems

My thoughts are what differs from the original setup, pulley size and difference between driver and driven as that might change the contact area add slippage. As the drive pulley has been re-grooved, have you tried pulling the belts off and clocking the pulley whilst turning the motor over...

    Recuperation

I go to a wee Classic Car breakfast meet that started up in the Chobham area, the guy has some lovely pump and ladder engines he has restored and a couple are the labour of love type where money was not the main consideration and they are worth nowhere near what was spent on them. Truly...

    Retail Statutory Rights Question

That is my experience of Sports Direct, no refunds so once they have your money the only option is goods to the value of or spend more money. I have returned one pair of trainers that were faulty and luckily they had a pair to exchange them with as the stock seems to change constantly.
