    Steve had this issue after an oil change, something to do with wrong internal diameter filter if I remember? Elton might know more. :thumb2 Edit - the ticking, not sure on smoke.

    Fingers crossed, don't want anyone to experience what I did, luckily it was slow speed! I have another donut somewhere too, along with the entire column :rolleyes: The techs keep telling me it's only a temp fix but it's still going strong touch wood!

    Time and time again I cannot get my head around the three different types of hubs, but you are saying I need not worry? :thumb2 as the cv joints turn all the time I worried this would cause issue when returning to 2wd :eek:

    Yes quite right, a dpf just removed would fail emissions, however if a remap was carried out correctly and the system drew no attention from a wise tester I see no harm.
