    Tyres

To be honest it's an olf fashioned debate, some of the biggest tyre manufacturers in Europe now are the remould companies, eco friendly tyres oat good prices. As you can see mine have done around 11k so far and you can barely see any wear at all, and I have an unused spare to compare them to...

    Tyres

I have Malatesta Koala AT remoulds on mine, they are an almost identical BFG copy and superior to all the other remoulds on the market in load rating speed rating, side wall protection etc. I have lost track of the mileage I've done on them now but about 11,000, at a guess, and they have only...

    caravan insurance 'write off' ideas?

A truck clipped it on a motorway junction. He was in the middle lane and wanted to turn left, I don't think he made allowance for the caravan behind me and pulled into my lane as I pulled away. The damage doesn't look like much but we have had quotes of around £14k to fix it so it has been...

    caravan insurance 'write off' ideas?

This is going to sound mean by comparison, but the figure we have is pretty good, I'm just trying to squeeze the buggers do a bit more :thumbs

    caravan insurance 'write off' ideas?

The thing is despite the CC perception that it it somehow better than the CCC (I always get small sense of that from the CC. Neither actualy have an insurance company and are just brokering your policy to their chosen insurers. I ha on claim, many years ago, with the CCC insurance and they...

    So surprised

I did over a 1000 miles in West Wales this summer in my T2 towing a bigger caravan than that, they are just right for the job. I think a T2 is a good compromise/middle of the road, you won't find anything that does everything quite as well, and certainly not for the same money.

Rain leaking in from map light switches

This might sound daft, but don't underestimate the amount of condensation that can build up under the roof, on cold steel, especially now th cold weather is coming and you have had a damp interior for a long time!
