    Roof Rails/Roof Bars

Thanks, I just googled 'rivnuts' and I see what you mean. Thanks for the offer, but I don't think I'm ingenious enough to attach those without the right tool! I'll have to look into if I can hire one? Any tips on drilling the roof without puncturing the liner?

    Roof Rails/Roof Bars

Hi all, So I want to install some roof rails (that run from to back) on my Terrano. I have seen various ones for sale online (from breakers mostly) but I'm not sure how to attach them? There don't look to be any mounting points on the roof, so is it a case of drilling holes and bolting them on...

    3D Printing

I know what you mean, and good CAD software can cost BIG £££ I use https://www.tinkercad.com/ I think it's aimed at kids but with a bit of imagination, you can make some quite technical parts. Here are some pics of the more complicated stuff I made for the MG...

    3D Printing

I was wondering if anyone on here had got into the world of 3D printing yet? I picked up an Ender 3 printer a couple of years back and it’s been great for making replacement caps, covers, switches etc. It was really useful when I was cleaning up the interior of the MG I had before Terrano, load...

sorry, been busy with work! Thanks again for your help at the weekend, it put my mind to rest that I hadn't bought a total nail. I have a box of o rings from working on my Vespa, but it's sods law that none of them fit! I have wrapped a bit of electric tape around the top of the dipstick for...

I was just looking up something to add to oil when I do the change and came accross this on Amazon Wynn's 50664 325ml Engine Stop Leak -> https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0031ROB36/ref=crt_ewc_title_dp_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE Can anyone speak to it's effects on a Terrano engine?

Thanks, I'm beginning to think the same. I'm planning on changing the oil and filter in the next couple of weeks. I'll try and give it all a good clean down at the same time and see if I can try and narrow down where it's coming from. Any recommendations of the best oil to use on these?

So... I noticed that the engine was losing a little bit of oil while sat on the drive. Only one drip every couple of days. I took it to my local garage to have a quick look and they recond it's the head gasket. Looking through the bits and bobs that were left in the boot when I bought it...

Thanks for the welcome. That's good to know for the wheel nuts thanks. I've just had a closer look at the body mounts and I think they should be ok. The mounts themselves have a lot of surface rust (like most of the underside), but with a good clean-up I think they should be ok. On the inside...

Hi, and thanks. Yes I think I'll have to look into a paid-up membership, it certainly does seem like a very friendly and active forum. I don't have any real plans yet. I've always fancied some green-laning, but I imagine that is a quick way to start breaking things! For now though I just want...

Also Also, is there a search function to search for keywords in existing threads? I don't want to be posting questions if I can find the answers already on here :)

    New Terrano Owner

Hi, I'm new to the world of Terranos (and 4x4 in general). To cut a long story short, I've never had much need for a car in the last few years, my wife has a car (which we used as the family car) and I used to commute to work on a Vespa, but I did have an old MG TF (that as basically given to...
