What Is It About A Terrano

it was our joint second choice. I wanted a disco and mrs wanted a shogun. The disco, series 1, ruled itself out as we were well out of the reach of the longer bodied s2/d2 with forward face 3rd row, Mrs wouldn't entertain the side ways seats of the s1/d1. Later I rode in one after got the t2...

What Is It About A Terrano

well on 3rd with a y61 back then. have my eye on a late t2 3.0 auto, late enough to get centre 3 point belt, then again might look for a trol of same age, a 55 plate to save on the rfl. trol was too big as only car but now would be one of two consider again. still like the pathfinders but...

    Ham radio and installation

Jim, I tagged you on FB thanks for your encouragement over the years, Pete too and so many more along the way. Just in process of setting up account on QRZ.com, for now have a little Baofeng Pete gave me, I've added a tiny mag mount with antenna, and a hand held mic. Acquired a nice UHF/VHF...

    Ham radio and installation

Currently only have a little Baofeng dual band held kindly gifted by Pete Briggie. Next one should be an Icon 208h that I had on reserve until passed FL. The seller in local club has offered a 10A psu which may be handy if decide to set up the house or caravan. What sort of antenna were you...

    Ham radio and installation

Thanks for that. Found a video of an m6 t2 owner that had a similar face plate radio had used the ash tray with body in boot. Suppose keeps feeder shorter too. Will have another look as think took feeder up door hinge too but to a mag mount though think he had rails available. Have seen a...

    Ham radio and installation

So I'm on way, passed the Foundation Licence test last week, just waiting for paper work so can obtain the call sign. Mostly going to work mobile, in the past had a CB loose in the Terrano and with a mag mount. Looking for ideas on a more permanent home for the radio and antenna. Lack roof...

    DRL’s

The number of folks who drive at dusk and later on dlr with no tail light. Might be as like our cmax the dash lights up all time so it not being lit isn't the same tell tale a as it used to be. Prefer to run on dipped heads as at least aren't as blinding as most dlr and back end protected...

    Very poorly 3.0

Would say the 3 litre in the t2 does not need any mods and indeed the problems that were encountered with the early troll y61 were resolved. Had mine 2 years and was cautious have the money pit trol buts it's been spot on. Goes like stink and no idiot light's. I'd say it's all about kiss...

    spare wheel lift

Wow best is doddle hitching up. When look at discovery and colarado are higher up. But shogun seems low or ball has to come out long way to clear

    spare wheel lift

Some say can invert carrier but the stud vs bolts makes it another hassle.

    spare wheel lift

Often put spare in boot for holiday towing as don't need the 3rd row of seats. It's then a breeze. Currently have a space with my standard tow ball but on cards to use an alko extended ball too.

    General Grabber AT3 opinions please.

Grabber at are top of my list for next at. Had some at on first terrano and we're brill. On last t2 had grabber at on rear and we're better than looked. Grabber at have a useful bead rim protector too. Not sure if the at3 looks as aggressive as the at2 which was a competitor to the bfg at but...

    Today's Daydream -Jeep Succession Planning

scanning those X5s, boy some of those v8s make some ponies, entry is a 4.4 but seen a 4.6 and a 4.8 that makes 360bhp, perhaps an lpg conversion..... always been anti beemer, with the salesman rep association and whilst not off roaders gather they've raced to Dakar, hey and £200 a year less rtf...
