Nats shouldnt be on the back of the pump, just a stop solenoid. Which is controlled by the nats. Coyld yo sebd me a pic of the back of your pump and ill work the wiring out for you :)

Thought there was a tacho output on the back of the manual pump? It would just be a case of making a tacho driver then to get the resistance right so it reads correctly.

Yes it rises by about 200 rpm. Im going to get an egt gauge i think so i know how hot things are getting.

Well I got 5 mins today and this.. All eventually turned into this... I wired it up as per George's diagram and f**k me this thing shifts, I put a 270 ohm resistor in to stop the resistance dropping too much but on max its immense. No ill effects so far apart from cooking my brakes lol...

I love using those save's messing about with heatshrink in hard to reach places too.

Rick is right it would advance the timing on a manual pump but the td27i has an electronic pump so the timing is done electronically anyway, If you look at it this way the pump will wear over the years so what is happening at the front is not necessarily happening at the rear, so by advancing...

Another thing ive found is that even though the later terrano's run an electronic fuel pump the pump body itself still retains the adjustable slots in its body. Now over the years the pump wears so you end up with play in the pump shaft so in effect what happens at the front of the pump is out...

Ive figured it out Zac ill put pics up when I do ordered a 1ohm pot today :)
