When you say you have the transponder are you referring to a pcf7936 chip? If so you have to ensure it is formatted to id46 I before it can be copied to. Sorry I said pcf7935 before but that is for the earlier NATS seutup.

Quick update, raised the front by just over an inch each side yesterday without needing to reset the torsion bars. Very little difference between front and rear wheel arch height now. Car drives a lot better feeling far more responsive and no more squealing as I corner. I will give it a day to...

Noted on all counts and thank you both. The car has only done 57k miles so I would have hoped that there was little ball joint wear. However the front certainly has sagged on the torsion bars. I will attempt raising it tomorrow but from the look of the adjusters I may well have to reset them.

Yep, when exposed to the air the oxidation of the oil produces an exothermic reaction creating enough heat to ignite the rag or even brush. The metal of the car presumably dissipated enough heat so that the petrol didn't explode.

Nope. At least no more than any other veg oil. I think you are confusing the issue with oily rags self combusting which IS a real danger
