Can anyone advise me how the outer part of the handbrake cable disconnects from the rear of the hub. I need to replace this cable but there are no obvious bolts or clips and reluctant to use to much force.

Hi all I am pleased to say my 1997 2.7 TD SWB Maverick passed its MoT so it getting some TLC. I am not an expert so asking members for their experience on "joints and bushes wear" on these vehicles. As it passed MoT by local village garage I suggest there are no obvious joint or bush issues...

Replacement Wing Thanks Jims-Terrano's for the heads up. I have just purchased these. There 250 miles away so as soon as the seller has put some tape around them I will pay for a courier service. Can't say I am worried if they get scratched as their green and my old truck is blue.

My Ford Maverick SWB 2.7 TDI clutch pedal is again suffering from creeks and groans despite me fitting a bronze bush and new steel pin 12 months back. How easy is it to take the whole pedal arm out so I can sort it on the bench.
