    2 Stroke Oil In Fuel

It's literally in the solid downpipe in the 3.0 Trol exhaust dude, from memory there's a slight bulge.

    Hello and Happy New year.

Hey dude, welcome fellow Trol owner :thumbs

    2 Stroke Oil In Fuel

Modern diesels usually have a CAT, it's not just a petrol thing. My 3.0 Trol had a CAT in the downpipe. I imagine the 3.0 Terrano is the same.

    NM53 EMK - 3.0 SVE Terrano

The Trol is a 2.8 so not a straight swap, needs loom and ecu etc.

    2 Stroke Oil In Fuel

1:200 is the ideal ratio (cost vs benefit), mineral over synthetic. Used it in my '04 3.0 Y61 and still use it in my 4.2 Y60 although I haven't used it in my Mitsi ASX 4wd (2014 1.8). For ease I just use 500ml/roughly half a bottle per tank (Y61 was a 95l and Y60 is an 80l). It gives back the...

    The ultimate off road vehicle???

Yeh definitely designed for rock crawling rather than mud blasting!

    Claire's Mini Beast!

X-Trail is monocoque so you won't be able to body lift it as there's no separate chassis.

Tidy Y60 4.2 LWB Example on eBay

That's a nice 4.2! :D Points to note for anyone thinking of buying:- 1. That 2nd battery looks like a factory mount which suggests it could be 24v even though it's not badged as a Safari (I run 24v :nenau not a big issue but it'll likely have a 12v converter for stereo and USB etc) 2. That...

    Elty001's terrano project

    Looking good dude :thumb2

    Claire's Mini Beast!

To be fair dude, that works fine if you're running 16" rims (like in the diagram) as it's still measuring constant to constant :nenau Have to admit the springs on my shorty measure up correctly.

    T31 Rear Hatch

Positive offset means the rim sits more over the calipers so 0 offset won't cause an issue with the calipers dude.

    T31 Rear Hatch

Is there enough spare closed capacity in the struts that you'll still be able to close it with it shimmed out? Not sure on the wheels, what size you on at the moment? Even ATs will be slightly bigger than road tyres. What offset are your current wheels?

How much per mile does yours cost ?

Meh I didn't buy a modified 4.2l diesel auto with economy in mind :lol

    Wanted Auto Terrano

    Meh you knows it :lol

    Wanted Auto Terrano

Bet money on burnt out clutch pack(s) so new box or rebuild needed.

The price of restrain in a 2.7 CRD Wk!

19mpg is low for even a modded 3.0 dude! That's around what I average with the modded 4.2 auto  I used to reckon on low 20s at least with my 3.0, although that was a manual.

    Nissan Mistral auto box ECU

Terrano autoboxes are all (for the R20 at least) lighter duty versions of the Trol's RE4R03A transmission (Terrano has the RE4R01A box) so they're all transmission ecu working through electric solenoids with a throttle position sensor. Not unknown (especially with older boxes) for the torque...

    Diff and ratios

I loved my Lokka, keen to get one in the Y60, just plenty else to spend on at the moment! I wouldn't say it made it harder but I did find the Lokka increased the self centering effect of the steering a wee bit once the hubs were locked (even when in 2wd). Also it won't steer very well if...

    Patrol Engine Swap

If the Aussies can match a Chevy V8 diesel to the RE4R03A auto then the OM606 should be doable https://www.marks4wd.com/mfk605cdzd30a.html :lol
