Yeh if you were seeping oil from the swivel then there would have been oil pooled in the swivel hub as once the axle seal has gone the diff oil leaks past the seal and pools in the swivel then seeps out the scraper seals. In normal service with a working axle seal the swivel shouldn't have any...

Unless you've used different grease in the swivel hub bearings and your cv joint I wouldn't bother as they're only really there to stop the grease mixing if you use different types :nenau
