    plastic primer

If you want to go just plain black on bare plastic bumpers.. Forever black. Fantastic stuff. Have been using it for years. Got it originally for the other halfs Golf bumpers that had gone grey, worked a treat. Used it on my Patrol wheelarch extensions, again top results. You do have to reapply...

Japanese Auto Extravaganza (JAE) 12TH – 15TH September

Yes Masa R34 conversion. Same Atessa 4wd system as a GTR, GTR brakes, GTR Rims, decat, cat back, uprated turbo, boost controller, big fmic, hard pipes, tein coilovers, as near to a GTR estate as you can get really. Not as quick as my R33GTR was but then quite a bit heavier and a good bit of hp...

A momentary lapse of reason ?

I've owned almost every model of Landy from a 1950 series one through forward control and nearly new defender with electric windows and remote central locking etc. Not to mention built off roaders from the chassis up, but my Y60 is like Nissan took the basic concept of a defender and made...

    Swb/lwb exhausts

First off it depends if you have a N/A or turbo 4.2 or a 2.8 Turbo. I've heard that there can be some very minor differences in front pipes for N/A motors making them difficult but not impossible to fit. From what I can see the difference in the short and long wheelbase exhausts is in the...

    Ewwww just NO !

Bit strange to leave the LR badge on it. Reading between the lines it's got solid suspension and it crawls off from stationary because it's so overgeared. I can't see anyone wanting that in their lives for 9 grand.

    Veg oil

I haven't tried acetone or vegiboost, didn't see that it was necessary. I did put a little petrol in when it was very cold nights because I work shifts and need it to start at stupid o'clock.

    Veg oil

It should be ok if mixed with diesel. I run my 4.2 Patrol on 70% brand new rapeseed and 30% diesel. I would avoid waste oil and bio because they all involve too much hassle. I suggest doing some googling but I think you would be ok at 50/50. If in doubt just try a bit and build up. Things to...

    Fully modded Terrano Lwb cheap

You don't remove the airfilter when you fit a snorkel, just raising the intake to it.

    riv-nuts

Use a rivnut setting tool. It looks a bit like a pop riveter but has a threaded adapter to screw into the rivnut. You can try setting them with a bolt and nut too, but it's a bit hard work.

    wide or narrow tyres

Big, wide and tall tyres look great. They also sap horsepower, use more fuel, make braking harder and generally make more noise and in various conditions make handling worse as well as increase wear and tear. Almost all down to the added weight/rotating mass/unsprung etc.... In some off road...

    Sh#t, s@it, s@#t

You're probably already aware. If you don't repair it properly you run the risk of it moving out of the correct mesh and damaging the ring gear, not to mention if it falls out of position and shorts out that big battery cable.
