    Diagnostics machine help/advise

Normally, I'd be right on it as you suggest. The problem here is the Autel is only sold via authoritised dealers. I've since found out all the ebay ones are generic Chinese copies . Basically buy one and have no back up 😑 Not good if your client's Mercedes throws a hissy fit and locks up the...

    Lockdown lowdown :(

If only I knew that when I built the bugger  Anyway, I took it in today for professional advise, and luckily, the bore is still within Nissan spec. Therefore , it's going for cross hatch hone, deck check and the head surface ground. Again, that had been done with a single point milling...

    Lockdown lowdown :(

How do muckers :D With all this down time I've been enjoying sorting my mega list of things to do around the house, absolutely loving it, skint as a church mouse , but loving it. Any roadup it came to pass that the Black Pearl was needing an engine rebuild again :o Last year after less than a...

    Lokka

Just "dropped" the Pearl's lokka , again :o We were taking the engine out. Didn't bother cutting bolts off the cross member or taking it off, just jack up the engine 1 cm and it'll fall out :lol

    Heat

In a slightly associated way, I made a wood fired hot tub last year. One night we may have had a beer too many while cooking the water.... Anyway checked temperature of water and it had gone to 42 degrees, oops. Ideal is 38, had to put two bags of party ice in there before I got naked :lol

How to fix fuzzy headlamps (Polycarbonate)

Best thing once you've done with the polishing bit is a clear lacqauer. Saves doing it again 6 months. I've done a few now and easy with autosolve and a cordless drill and buffer. Takes several minutes max 😃

    PC and Me return :)

Tis true but I live in hope of this "other" computer lasting longer than mine :lol I had a dropbox account but lost access to it when my old "Wanadoo" email was dropped by orange or EE I cant retrieve it without the access to the old email address  I have to load up loads of pics and...

    Patrol Rear Diff Problems

Never had that issue with mine but have heard that the diff lock actuator is a bit suspect. No idea why it would shoot off to one side other than local road conditions like camber or wetness ?
