Just looked online at the gov website and as you’d expect it isn’t very clear though one of their pages clearly states that the mot has been extended. I’ll just play it by ear and see how it goes, if I can get it in for MOT then it’ll get done.

The smaller section of the door window slides open so similar to the description you gave. To be honest it would be difficult to get the hole wrong as the inner skin is shaped exactly where to cut. It is easier and leaves a better finish using a hole saw at each corner.

The white socket on the left is the 12s socket. This is the one that will have the reverse light if it’s been connected. Sorry you’ll have to google 12s wiring diagram for the correct terminal but the wire should be yellow so that might be enough.
