Have you checked the wiring and bulb holder in the rear light unit? These are a weak point as all the crap builds up on the back of the lights and things start to corrode. Also if i recall correctly the fuse is labelled as eng cont on the fusebox under the dashboard.

What are the compression rod bushes like on the lower wishbone?? The cup washer that houses the bush has a tenancy to break off the chassis and can cause a clunk. Also check the anti roll bar drop links:thumb2

I'm hoping the bad rot is confined to the rear end but i'll be honest and say i don't hold much hope out for the rest of it:eek: Until i get properly underneath with the hammer and chisel and give the chassis a good going over i won't know for sure.

I mainly use the angle grinder. Have also got a reciprocating saw with a metal blade and a good selection of sharp chisels.

Hopefully get some more done this coming weekend if the weather holds out.

Had a couple of hours yesterday and this evening cleaning,prodding,cutting and welding on the project.

Could also be a pin hole in the steel feed or return pipes. Don't think I've ever owned at terrano that i haven't had to change them on.

This area here looks suspect. Looks like it's rotted and some small pin holes are appearing. The most common places for leaks are obviously any hose joints so i would check the hose clamps are tight and the hoses in good order.
