Right peeps, Just about to fit manual AVMs, but looking at the download I can't suss out which bits to refit onto the drive shaft. Can anyone advise?

So Nissan want £60 ish for a new spring and brake set. On the other hand, I could fit manuals and have done with it. So just before I splash the cash, if I remove the hubs and select 4wd, will I be able to see the drive shaft turning, thus indicating that is definitely a hub problem?

I'm liking the sound of that. Although teaching the Mrs how to do it could be a marriage-breaker!!

I'm on the case today, having had to tow out my T2 with a Freelander (with a flat tyre)!!!! New brake rings anyone??

Do springs come with the brake rings?

I'm sure it must be the brake ring then, cos it just didn't fit right. If I can fit new 'uns and it works, I'll be one happy chap. Incidentally, if one is faulty, does this stop 4wd working altogether?
