    I don't think Ford are interested in helping me with my old/obsolete vehicle to be honest!!!! I'll have a closer look at the gearbox and also try Mazda and Nissan in the morning, thank you for your help :)

    Hey terranosaurusdoug, I've just looked it up and the Mazda B2000 is a pick up truck, my Maverick is a saloon type 4x4.........would it maybe be the Mazda Tribute? (The Tribute looks the same body shape as my Maverick)
