well i finally got round to doing the old water pump today, it's only been leaking for about a year!!! It was a lot easier than i expected ,and made a lot easier by leaving the hose connected at`the bottom and lifting the rad/cowl and hose out, any way she's watertight and the wifes happy.:clap

:confused:from a cold start,the rev counter and speedo go absolutely mental,even on tickover its past the redline and the speedo is of the scale and just generally erratic,hovever if i switch off after 2 minutes or so,it works perfectly! Its just on me list of jobs to do but now getting on me...

i really don't think the rolling road speed (about walking pace) and the duration of he brake test (about 10 seconds per wheel)are anything to be concerned with, i was more concerned about him revving the shit out of her for the emmisions!:(
