I'm looking at a dual battery system for my Navara D22. Has anyone installed a dual battery system in a D22. Where's the best place for the second battery? Any help would be great. Mikey

I have 6 Thule bars under a purpose made roof rack, so the weight is well spread. I also carry my roof tent during this time of year (only 17kg), easy for that emergency camping weekend. I could have a party on my roof rack !! Mikey :lol:

I know this will seem a silly question to most of you, but what is the best way to secure a spare wheel on a roof rack? Anyone done this and not had it 'borrowed' Mikey :roll:

Not sure of the extent but the garage fitting it (Frogs Island) said new brackets had to be made and old ones adjusted and it would take a days labour. I also spoke to TBR and they pretty much said the same thing. Procomp don't tell you these things !! Let me know how you get on... :wink:

Tried to. Ordered one from Procomp. Sent the wrong one, then the right one, then found out steering bits needed loads of modifications to brackets etc to make it fit. I gave up and sent it back. If you find one that fits, let me know. Mikey

Thanks NNMan, it's as solid as rock. The canopy bars are just a few mm higher but there's about enough flex for it to make no dofference. No, still not found a rear diff guard. May have to have one of those made as well !! :roll:
