    Welding Needed

I could probably cut the old cross member off and re-fix a new one on, but where would I get one from? I'd have to bolt it on, as I don't have a welder! That bit shouldn't be too difficult, its the inner corner bits that definitely need welding. I guess if I can do the cross member it would...

    Alloy Wheels leaking

Just had my front Alloys cleaned and sealed. Price not bad considering the work involved: Remove wheels, remove tyres and old balance weights, scrape, clean and re-seal wheels, fit tyres back on wheels, balance wheels and fit back onto car. £26.40 Cheap as Chips! (Although, Chips ain't bloody...

    Radio Replacement problem

Managed to get radio fitted by cutting a few bits out. Got cage wedged in nice and tight then pushed radio in. Wouldn't want to try and get it out again though! Let's hope it lasts whatever life of the Mav is left!

    Radio Replacement problem

The fitting cage that came with my Kenwood Radio is virtually an identical size to the fixing for the original Ford unit. Difference being, the original is only made to fit the Ford Radio. The Kenwood locks into the cage supplied! At the moment, the new Radio is just pushed into hole, not fixed...

My Drivers Mat is split, so I'm looking for a replacement, will buy set if necessary, as long as they are genuine Ford Maverick Rubber Mats.

    Radio Replacement problem

After a recent Battery/Starter/Cable problem I found I was unable to re-code the original Ford Cassette/Radio in My Maverick, so I decided to get a new Radio/CD player. Got a good deal from Halfrauds on an ex display model and took it home to fit. Problem being, the cage that came with new Radio...

I'm Sorry, but as an ex Gamekeeper & Deer Stalker I'll blame the idiot driver! I'd have to say that 100mph on Cannock Chase is totally f***ing Stupid! Everyone knows the area is FULL of deer, some of them are Reds up to 300lbs, plus, I know there are suitable speed limits all over the area to...

Deicer stuck under the brake pedal

Reminds me of an incident years ago when I was driving down a lane and the car in front ran over and killed a pheasant. As I went past, the bird looked in good nick, so I stopped and picked it up. I threw it in back of my estate car and carried on. Half an hour later I joined the M6 southbound...
