Whilst replacing steering lock stops I wondered if there were ever some rubber stops in this part of the wheel/suspension assembly (behind front anti-rollbar)? I seem to remember seeing a post here somewhere where someone removed some kind of stop in this location whilst replacing some gators.

Is this a clue to the squeaking? Oil leak from the front diff. The drip looked fresh until I prodded it with my finger.

Reversing straight when squeaking and disappears when in 2h and back again in 4h. Stops give the loud grinding clonk.

Knew that already but not sure if any previous owners would have known. Any symptoms of this haft wind up?

Very happy with no DPF to go wrong. Had one leaking regeneration oil on Citroen Berlingo all over gravel drive. Horrible stuff!
