I'm looking to do a service on my '02 3.0 LWB and am looking to see what filters need attention. Does this have a mini filter on the fuel pump as seen on the workshop download for a Mistral 2.7? I assume a Mistral is another country version of a Terrano, am I correct? Thanks

Mmm ... so I wonder if my readings were inaccurate on the old worn tyres and I wasn't getting as good mpg as I thought ... or ... its the other way around! I'll get the GPS out and measure my journey between fills. Come to think of it on old tyres my speedo was reading about 60mph against GPS...

I've just noticed a rust spot, about size of 50p piece, appearing at the rear end of my sills. I've flushed out the front end of the sills after removing the mudguards but I gather there should be some drain holes in the sills. Where are they and what do they look like? The only things I can...

Thanks. Doesn't sound good having water exiting in to the sills. I can just see those sill rusting away! Sounds like an all day job just to get rid of the silicone sealant. Not sure what effect it might have on the rubber or painted surface though!

A previous owner of my 02 Terrano obviously had a leaky glass sunroof and decided to poorly silicone seal the outside and disable the button rather than successfully unblock the two drains (I assume). The silicone seal has failed as water is now dripping from above the reading light cluster. I...

'02 Terrano 3.0 SVE The oil light keeps coming on but when I check the level it looks fine. Oil was changed about 5 months and 3,000 miles back. I suspect it's something to do with the sensor wherever it is. Any ideas on fixing this? Thanks

Since I do not do any off-roading and that I haven't heard or felt any loud thumps am I correct in thinking that the missing stops aren't much of a problem unless MOT thinks so?

What sort of glue should be used and would the metal surfaces need to rubbed back to bare metal?

Is there any reason that they would be removed other than making space and they forgot to put them back?

Continuing my newbie posts on bits I'm seeing on my Terrano can someone tell me if this is a catalytic converter? I thought cats were only on petrols.
