I popped in to see my mate on the way home tonight and he cleared the fault codes again, this time it said crank sensor needle lift sensor needle lift sensor (RPM) Pull like a train again but I haven't revved it...

My mate thinks it will be the crank sensor too, any idea of electrical test numbers I have tried having a look at the manual but don't really know where to look.

I have cleaned the mini filter and same same. I had a look at the plug in for the diagnostic machine and nothing marry up to anything in the download section or anyone's suggestions I'm afraid. The plug shape is different to all . It is angled on both sides. Here is my diag plug, I notice not...

I'm not sure which maf I have I will have a look and let you know. How do I go about with the paper clip method ? It is ok pulling off but it feels as if it is struggling to get to 3000rpm and above.

Any late spec front bumpers? the type with vertical bits down the centre of the bumper.

Running a little better but still gutless after trying injector cleaner, I'm going to try and take the wire off the number 1 injector to see if that does anything before I commit to by a new one or get them cleaned. Is it ok to take the wire off all will it have a hissy fit?

Looking at the link I may not be able to solder it as I tried a repair with the paint on stuff you use to fix a broken rear screen demister. :(

Thanks guys, I have been told to try some injector cleaner straight into the fuel filter so fingers cross that it helps if not I'll have to go back to plan A. Time will tell.

Ok no probs. Not sure mine can be fix as it has a little bit of rust on the corner, is that normally what happens to them?

I don't have a manual unfortunately, I did have a disc but since moving house it has been lost :( . Any chance anyone could tell me the resistance value please?

Would you say fit a full new set or just the one? and any ideas what the codes mean? my mate couldn't tell me what the codes mean as the machine didn't tell him also looked in a book he had and nothing there either. :(

Looking for a heater fan resistor if you have one, not sure if they are all the same but my Terrano2 is 2001.

I had the Terrano plugged into the Snapon machine and these faults came up P1240 PO335/ crank sensor , which was reset by machine and didn't appear on next start up. Needle lift sensor, what ever that is?

Any idea of any other Nissan makes that would fit the Terrano 2 ?
