My front UJ was seized in one direction also.

Yes I know it moves in and out but I wouldn't think it moves very far as the front diff is fix and so is the box, I suppose it allows a tad of movement in regards to the rubber gearbox mounts.

I have ordered a new one rather than getting a second hand one.

Mine Ter is a 2001 SWB Van with auto hubs so I presume it would be classed as a later one and has no grease nipples, the play is in the slide joint and has a little rubber boot over it. I am wondering why it has a slide joint as the gearbox doesn't really move nor does the front diff housing...

I have noticed that where the slide joint is on my front prop it has a fare bit of play and was wondering to go for a second hand one or get one from Millners. What do you guys think?

I noticed my rear door area has been a bit damp and I thought my Terrano had no rust at all anywhere, but I was wrong. The very top door seal has two plastic pegs behind the seal in the very corners my paint was holding the rust together and after a bit of poking revealed an inch square hole...

My ecu has been tweeked and it pulls like a train now.

My rattle turned out to be a self destructing clutch plate (after a year or so) which after some time disintegrated itself and took the crank sensor out at the same time. Foot on clutch no rattle foot off pedal rattle, but not all the time I would even say intermittently. I too as everyone else...

Sounds like you have given it a good going over then, I'm not sure what to suggest.

Your notchyness will be the universal joint on the steering column (behind the drivers side wheel), mine does this if my Ter is parked up for a few weeks. Get some WD40 or thin oil would be better and that will help.

Like I say it is booked in on the 11th so I'll find out then. The water only leaks once the engine is up to temperature and the thermostat has opened, as far as I can work out there are covers over the front of the engine so you can't really see where the pump is bar seeing the pulley.

That sounds like a nice cheap gauge. :clap I had thought of that method but I have just bought some Mickey Thompsons and want to try and give them a good start with some good correct camber . Any idea of what camber should be? Someone has suggested one of these...

What type of camber gauge do you guys use and how? (roughly)
