Oooops we seem to have upset someone.

on a lighter note ............ Can we make the membership last for 24months? ............. It might expire whilst you're in the middle of reading such a long thread

Usefull and essential off road kit to carry

Great piece of kit - work really well with adaptor, but you really need replacement sills to jack from with your jap motors lads. The jack itself can be useful (if used correctly) to lift wheels of beached motors on rocks

    Derbyshire lanes 10 Nov 07

cheers Andy! It was only the insurance disclaimer I was worried about. Corc event = CORC member = CORC disclaimer ............ that's all really, just in case the worst happened and so damage was done ot a motor

    Derbyshire lanes 10 Nov 07

hi Andy Not sure if Doodles still has access to NFMOC, but just to let you guys know, the CORC event being organised for 10 Nov will be run under CORC guidelines - incl the signing of a CORC disclaimer, etc. and is only open to CORC members (free to join). But there is a waiting list - we just...

    Nissan Up Stanage Edge

OK, so I know most of the motors in this (relatively) long video clip are Landys, but here his some video footage from Magnum Force (aka Flat Out Phil) the Surf driver shot whilst out with us laning in Derbyshire. We were in 3 groups of 4, but arrived at Stanage in such a way that we all passed...

Who would like to drive Stanage edge

To answer the earlier question, where is Stanage Edge? To drive 'up' Stange, the route starts at Dennis Knoll at SK227 / 844 and rises up to Redmires resevoir at SK256 / 851. Certainly not to be driven without a suitable 'spotter' to guide you over the rocks. Drove it at the weekend with one...

Who would like to drive Stanage edge

Firstly, there is no "use it or loose" threat hanging over Standage Edge - it's driven regularly. Stanage changes contstantly due to fresh rock fall, washout / erosion by rain or even the effect of vehicles that have driven it. However, Stanage is a challenge! And as such, should remain a...

    Green lane day Derbyshire

Definately was Sillydale mate - large rock blocking the route (it was a long way to reverse back up)!!

Just to confirm what Doodlebug said - I'm available and really looking forward to meeting up with some new members of the NFMOC :)

    Green lane day Derbyshire

Not sure - the route was a well used path that I've been on most of it before with an "organised" run. Chris from Derby (Doodlebug) and his lad did all the maps / routes - checked with GLASS and locally during week prior to doing the run. From what I remember, we did a route round Monsal Head...

    Green lane day Derbyshire

Hi Guys! Hope you have a great day out in the peaks on the 15th. (now time to give a bit of Landie banter - make up for all the Nissan stuff I get off Shark1e) 3 of us in "proper 4x4s" did Stanage recently on 16th Sept, wouldn't recommend it unless you're in a small group...
