ok alternator died 2 weeks ago and sent it to be refurbished. But they boulde not so got the new one above. It seems it just does not switch of like they do usually and just get really really hot.

old same Same than in one of my post. Speedo is about 20km over then when at about 120k/h it says 140km/h and get crazy to 180k/h (maybe I have the fastest jeep ever) I bought a second hand clock and it does exactly the same. so it's not the speedo clock, and not the sensor in the gear box...

help !!!!! So what is connected to the clock ? And the mechanic checked the sensor in the gear box and said it's fine. I changed the speedo clock and same problem happened.

dash I changed my ones, very quick and easy job. I put led ones and as mentioned aboved, polarity is important. I found them too bright so got new normal ones on ebay for £3 I think. Seb

you won believe me ! I know you won't believe me but I drove 56000 miles on the mistral in the last 12 months. I have very minor problems, I posted here. The average on motorway (Galway Dublin) is pretty good if you drive at 70m/h On the small roads I use economy mode even over at 60 miles...
