Might be worth checking EGR valve gasket and vacuum pipes. Had this recently on an L200. Get under the bonnet when its ideling and have a listen, if its coming from the 'belt' area might also be alternator or idle wheel barings. Could try taking the belt off and running without to see if it...

It's already in Mr K's workshop being assessed for repairability - the plastic free-wheeling lock handle is still in tact and unmelted :confused: still works ok, although not pulled the cable as my spine had collapsed lifting it up.
