I had the same issue, water coming in from the top so I got a tube of outdoor mastic and piped some into a vent hole in the top of the rubber seal, sent the stuff both ways, leak sealed...... did the other side as well....

    Where's My Clutch Fluid Gone!!!!

two potential places, there's a three way block joint at the bottom of the clutch pipe, one is the line in, the other is the damper which often rusts through at the end (found at the back of the vehicle, right hand side) and the 3rd goes to the clutch slave... fitted to the external part of the...

    best spot light?

I find the standard fitment sufficient on the front, on the rear, I have two worklights which are remote and on clips so can be plugged in and moved around to suit...... Typically, I use a marine light which is less prone to corrosion....... Relays are fitted to the inner wings using sealant to...

Afternoon all, I've a small conundrum, not my LWB nissan T2 which is running very well, but a colleagues Ford Maverick R reg 2.7TD SWB. Essentially when the key is turned in the ignition, the MIL light flashes slowly, on following the toolbox PDF, I short out the two pins described and get a...

    My T2 won't start

Morning all, Changed the clutch, easy to say but difficult to do, anyway, all done, now my car refuses to start, initially the nats disabled the system, then righted itself as I'd removed the battery for the works. The car door when opened sets off the alarm until the key goes in the ignition...

    Clutch

My clutch died on me last week on my way home from work, stripped the box off today, I found it quite difficult I must say, the bolt on the top of the starter motor being one to mention............... the clutch has a large fail point in the middle, where the centre has given way.......... I'll...

Original front door speakers crossovers !!!

easy enough to make a crossover using a resistor and capacitor........ as for putting high watt speakers on......... fair enough, just remember that the stereo is only 50 watts or so per channel, mine tends to make the speakers overdrive (farting noise) if I really turn up the level! best built...

losing power steering and clutch fluid.

don't know about the steering issue, but the clutch...... I had a similar problem. Blew out the dust with an air line, beware its nasty stuff so wear a mask, then check the slave cylinder, sometimes the piston gets a leak across the seal, you'll see oil around the rubber boot, also look at the...
