    New Admin!

Welcome from me. I'm still hanging in there and so is the truck, daily use on roads and off, fields and forestry.

Some old names still around !

Hi all, I'm still using my Terrano. Passed MOT last year with no advisories and again this Monday with just minor Nearside Front Anti-roll bar linkage ball joint dust cover severely deteriorated. Not surprising since it's the original ones on there and 99,000 miles on and off road. Actually have...

    Back for Another Year!

I've just renewed. Terrano still seems OK, in fact it passed its last MOT with no advisories. Might be fitting a winch of sorts this year, to be used for pulling stuff towards the truck.

    Front bulkhead leaks

Just a thought on this. John5177 has a 3.0l SVE, is that what you other guys are talking about too? I seem to recall no driver side cover on my 3.0l SVE when I had the plastic panel off a year or so ago.

    Fuel line material?

Hi all, hope everyone is well. Looking for recommendations for best material for replacing fuel lines, tank to engine bay on my Terrano 3 litre. I know the IDs are 6mm and 10mm and been thinking of using either opaque polyurethane or synthetic rubber composite. Any thoughts, pros and cons...

    What’s Everyone Getting Up To?

Hi Jim, not posted for a while but got the Terrano up on axle stands at the moment. Need to replace rear hydraulics from ABS actuator back. Have got shoes and fitting kit, cylinders, pipe and tools. Just need to get some union fittings and decide what to do about the flexi hose connector, can...

    if when where, terrano replacement

Wife's daily driver is a 2014 Freelander 2 Metropolis, we got it 18 months ago with 16,500 miles on it. I've put General Grabber AT3s on it and it's an impressive drive both on motorways and offroad. Don't tow with it but see plenty who do. Definitely worth a look :thumb2

    Where’s Everyone Gone?

I'm still running the 3.0l and drop in here from time to time. The truck has been laid up since February. Just need to put a new battery in it and tidy it up before the game season gets under way, although it will soon be covered in $h1t on the outside and dog hairs on the inside. Cheers, Mick

    Provent Catch Can Modification

I wouldn't bother Jim, the Provent I put on my T2 is hanging up in the garage at the moment. It caught oil, but not a lot. Cheers, Mick

    Any Audiophiles here?

I think it's a SME 3009 Series 3 arm. Those decks and arms need a high degree of TLC with respect to general handling and certainly any movement from their current location and preparation for transit. If you decide on prices and offer them here first I'd certainly take a serious look. If you...

3 Litre is it a bad engine?

I enjoyed doing the stuff I did last May but caught out by Photobucket trying to pull the £££'s in. When I get the time I'll try to update my project thread to put the photos back in and take things up a notch.
