Default I need a bigger hole !!!

My bow clamps have arrived and are fairly large , any thoughts on how I make my recovery bracket hole larger ?

the bolt that needs to go through are 3/4"

you must have a smaller rod

are yours 4 3/4 tonne ?

Edit : I cant even go and get a 22mm Metal drill bit as it wont fit in the chuck.

You'll rip the recovery thing off before those buggers give
What about a strop between the two points then put those QE2 fittings on that

Yea I made a slight mis-calculation on the sizes but hey I have them now and that whats going to be fitted.

wanted stainless ones but I couldnt find any that were up to spec

what i need now is huge nylon washers to stop them rattling

2" diameter with a 3/4 hole if anyone has any kicking about :-)

You should be able to get a 22mm bit with a reduced end to fit your chuck on the drill.
A engineer supply shop should have them


Don't drill out to much otherwise you could weaken the bracket ?
They were made that size for a reason

Why not just put them on when you need them, saves the rattling sound

When you get some nylon rod you can cut 50mm chunks off for a body lift
