Never been to Glasto but was a regular at Donnington 'Monsters Of Rock' sprinkled with a couple of Knebworths and a few Readings. Whatever happened to Reading by the way..?
Speaking of Glastonbury, if I'd paid all that money to see some bands, the last thing I'd want is my view of the stage being blocked by a dozen or so poxy flags on 12 foot high poles. I'm sorry, but in my day, such flags and their poles would have been torn down, broke into several pieces and shoved up the waver's backside.! |

been to village and monument/castle out of season but not festival.
like gob, sorry, done donno. in 88 when maiden headlined and guns n roses abandoned/halted their set due to crush where sadly i believe 3 fans died. always makes me think when see paradise city vid as donno is black and white versus an arena gig in states in colour. abiding memory is bottles of pee being thrown over crowd, by crowd and trying to find coach in dark, fortunately had moved to q for gate but as we headed up m1 there were several rockers walking up the hard shoulder always wondered what time they got home if if their coach picked them up. think reading still on, mirrors leeds festival august bank hol with headliners swapping locations over the weekend.
