Default Fookin twonk plod ............

Got my truck impounded today
Chuffing stupid plod and ALL his mates in the layby playing licence top trumps
Ruddy planks did the usual small talk testicles while checking tax insurance etc, while his spotty twat plod bum chum looked at the tyres
Those aren't road legal tyres sir
Oh yes they are says I and haven't you got anything better to do, I'm trying to get to work here?
Not now you're not sonny
Oh and it seems your license is revoked............WHAT
So now I have to claim from DVLA why my license was revoked in 2004 !
£150 impound fee, a visit to court soon too, what a fun day out

Strange when you call twat head plod to school to bust a drug dealer, they were too busy!!!
Cause they're all havin' a bloody picnic in the chuffin' layby

It's a fookin' police state I tell you
Vote liberty shoot brown

Buses stink

Thats me told then..
They have been at it for ages round here, got a £30 on the spot the other week cos they couldn't find anything wrong with our mr2 so said the front number plate had the wrong spacing on the letters.

Insa turbo sahara rallies! No idea why they are an issue cause the license bit was a higher card.
It seems that the DVLA didnt tell me they wanted my license to put some points on . This was way back in 2004.
I've had my papers checked loads of times since and had points too.
My paper copy I found today has those points on it so someone has dropped a clanger.Even the points are finished too.
I've sent a suitably worded letter to DVLA taday and see the solicitor tomorrow.

As your tyres are road legal & if the DVLA are proven to have dropped a clanger then the can't charge you for inpounding your motor & you might be able to get compen for loss of income due to not having your motor

I do hope so, it's such a pain as every thing assumes you are wrong, not the system.
Dvla said on the phone today "oh well send your paper bit in and we'll renew it for you straight away "
No fee , cheers a bunch

and as you say, call them out for something serious and they're nowhere to be seen....useless plonkers. People like us are just an easy, soft target for them to get a few brownie points....

Probably why the Dyfed Powys plod force have the very high clean up rate they boast.
Just been on their web site and they even say there that next year even more of the budget is going on plod picnics in laybys
Apparently they even do DHSS checks on who they pull now.
Bloody police state I tells you grr

Bunch of shysters! I had a clean licence for ten years before moving to Wales - six months in and I've already won six bloody points! The first one was a radar trap and the young copper was so apologetic it was a laugh, but did he let me off? did he hell!

MAKE SURE YOU MAKE A COPY OF YOUR LICENSE BEFORE YOU SEND IT

A friend of mine was in a very similar situation to you, when he inquired where his replacement license was, he was told they had no record of it OR HIM.

After a long battle, he had to apply for a new license and re take his test

NNOO old bill said under section bla bla they get to seize car full stop.
I asked if I could have it towed but oh no. Neither would they let anyone else drive it back for me even if they were insured etc
