You must be proud being involved in something and someone as awesome as that. There is something special about F1 that I don't get from other formulas.
Get rid of that bloody halo though!

I like Indy cars too, it's like old f1. I'd love to go to America and work in that formula Never happen though

I like the Snorkel, but I think the ground clearance could be an issue, and those tyres are just plain illegal.... You need some Generals, or BFG's!!

Thanks guys.

5 double world championships, what an awesome achievement!

So much sacrifice from the whole family to achieve history.

Proud of them

I started to watch a bit of Indy when Alonso did the Indianapolis Speedway, there was a new found respect for going round in circles having just done my first session on a track bike a Manchester Velodrome. It's incredible how much concentration and effort you need to go round a bowl.

About 10 years ago I was thinking about entering Time Attack. I decided to get driver training to help me and to see if I had the skill to compete and just to see if I was any good.

I went to CAT Driver training at Millbrook and part of the training was high speed driving on the oval.

All I'll say is, yeah, big respect. Don't think for a second driving on an oval at high speed is easy

I'm due at Millbrook soon to do my Level 3 internal driving permit for work.

I don't like the sound of the 140mph emergency brake and the bowl where you have to take your hands off the wheel!!!!!

I've also heard they will be flying me around the track in a Caterham where they enduce a "controlled spin out" and expect you to correct it.

Once I've done this I'll get to take the Prototypes out on the road

Bloody hell. That's amazing. What is it your work is expecting you to do with this training?

On the bank turn you will reach a certain speed where you can take your hands off the steering wheel and the car will be able to turn by itself going round the banked turn
