Problem with overlanding in the UK is you run out of tracks before you have to hit the tarmac.
The Yorkshire dales has some the countries longest rights of way so you can stay off the tarmac and get an overlanding feel to your trip.

Yep, there are some real long lanes out there but the bobble hatted snowflakes have had them closed to vehicles

I'm watching some of his vuds now, he's got a couple on dc to dc chargers, I've been reasearching them recently as they are supposed to be much better than just an uprated alternator and split charge solenoid.

I can beat that, mines called “Terrano Walkers Action Truck”. It is utter rubbish but I like the letters.

Well, its sort of still in there.. That rusty lower radiator bracket is slowing things up. But more stuff will be going on before it comes out.
