Is this the Rustic Meet? If so, a distance he's comfortable with so he can split if he has to. Not fussy where myself. As for when, if it happens to be holiday time we'll combine it with the meet

I'd have thought a summer Saturday afternoon/evening (give the day trippers time to get there and home) somewhere pretty close to Rustic. Sensible amount of parking (i.e. not a mid village pub with three parking spaces). Somewhere that can cope with a biggish (hopefully) group and feed them at a reasonable price.

Just my thoughts.

If it is, chemo will finish in September ish, might manage something before, BUT.... If treatment goes pear shaped, I sometimes find myself on the way to hospital and cancel all other arrangements.

Might be better to organise yourselves and advise me, and if I can tag along I'll try to be there. I don't know if that might work or not.

For the record, we are in Staffordshire, so Derbyshire, Cheshire and adjacent counties should be accessible to us, but also we try to spend time in Oxford, so even an hour south is possible.

Is there a campsite and a hotel nearby any location we choose too. I don't know those areas very well but Rustics suggestions seem fine but Oxford may be a bit far south for me but I also understand we have people from all over so it's please the masses and not the individuals.

No space, no time, no enthusiasm to finish it coupled with the fact that it's going to cost me almost £60 a month to insure and store it.

That's dead money to me

I'm with you there. It's not a cheap pastime anymore. Unless you have room to store it at home.
