East water is the deepest lake in that area.popular with divers and also a Mecca for people wanting to climb scafell.
I need to go there now. |

Fantastic pic's we often go over to the lakes as it's just cross country for us & as my parents have a second home in Carlisle we alway have some where to stop

I love wild camping in the lakes, if I can drive hard knot and wrynose then all the better, especially as it terrifies my eldest. It's even more fun if the hand brake had failed on your way there makes for interesting hill starts on the steep bits
